
And the last picture shows
my husband actually moving the coop to a different place so the
chickens can have fresh grass to munch on. The way my husband
is able to pull the coop without tearing the grass up is that
he put a metal stripping on the bottom that he made to curve up
at the end that's closest to the mower so that the coop just glides
along rather than scraping the ground.
The shepherd in the background
is the main predator that we have to keep away from the chickens.
She's a really sweet dog, but she loves fresh meat, especially
rabbits.
