November 2008

Ann Marie Kropovitch : Thanks for the keeping chickens newsletter. We are relatively new to the world of chicken keeping. We started in the Spring of 2007 with some baby chicks and are currently enjoying the fruits (eggs) of our labor. It has been a great experience for our two boys being able to go out to the coop and get fresh eggs rather than buying them at the store. I haven't bought eggs in months and we are able to share our bounty with our friends and neighbors. Every once in a while one of our girls will surprise us with a huge egg. I am attaching a picture of todays present - it's even bigger in person. I've also included a picture of our rooster 'Dr. Cluckerstein' but we call him doctor for short.
