"I am a newbie, and after studying your site and some of the links, spent the Christmas vacation building a chicken ark. I am attaching a picture. I am not a carpenter and haven't built many things, but I was able to put this together using some pictures you provided…when it gets a little warmer, I will add the chickens."

Quick Tip

Fake eggs in the nest (wooden or ceremic eggs, and even golf balls) can help encourage your 'girls' to lay their eggs in the right place.

They will also help to deter any egg stealing snakes from making a return visit!
